Cats are playful creatures by nature and they can get entertained with pretty much anything they can find at home, like shoelaces, earplugs, remotes, you name it! However, what you might have realized by now, is that cats are not particularly gentle with your things. But you can’t really blame them as they are biologically programmed to seek and destroy.
As a pet owner, you probably spend some time away from home, which provides the perfect opportunity for your cats to explore the house and find new ways of entertainment. The key is to give them new toys every once in a while, so it’s less likely for them to mess with your things. I started making crochet toys for my cats a while ago and that seems to keep them entertained so they stay away from mine. I hope that’s the case for you too!
